Highlights Of School Holiday....

This holiday must be the boring-est one I’ve ever had, but my highlights of this holiday would have to be going to the movies,having a  Family dinner,  Playing at the arcade and having Sleep in's.

On the 1st week of the holidays I went to Sylvia park and watched  the most funniest movie “central intelligence”.This movie was made up with the funniest main characters Dwayne Johnson known as “The rock” and the one and only Kevin Hart. I went to this movie with my sister, Aunty and Uncle. I don’t want to spoil for you but the movie is funny while I found it funny but there were some parts that got away with it but this movie was lit.

On the last week of school holidays my family decided to throw in a B.B.Q to congratulate my uncle and aunty for getting married. SO at 2pm all my uncles, auntys, cousins and grandparents started arriving , with meat and drinks. We fired up the B.B.Q and cooked up the patties, sausages…

Anyway the food at the end wassss YUMMM and delicious.

On the first week of holidays we also went to the arcade in Aotea square in town. This arcade has to be the biggest one I’ve been to yet, but the games itself was competitive and FUN. The first game I first tried when I got there was the BASKETBALL game where you have to shoot hoops for as long as you can. My score at the end was probably the smallest one I’ve ever got it was 29. The second game was the car game you could call it and I think the last activity we tried was the hockey game.

The most enjoyable thing I did in the holiday was SLEEP IN'S. There’s not that much to say but sleepin’s are probably the one I mostly enjoyed.

This is my highlights of what I done in the holidays. I enjoyed it at times but this has to be the BORINGEST one I have ever had.

Yes I was surprised, because I thought that some websites were not as bad.

Do you think it would be different if you did this on a weekday or weekend?

I would be different if I do it on a weekend because in weekends I get free time most of the time, where in week days im not on you tube or other websites as much.

How different websites do you think you visit in 24hrs on average

I think I visit google, google docs, you tube, mail are my average websites.

My Weekend

In my weekend I went to my Saturday netball game for school and after went home and baked some cupcakes for a 1 year old birthday. On Sunday was Mother's day for mother's we went out and brought breakfast.

On Saturday I went to my netball game for school our first game was at 9.20 but ended up playing for A team because some players didn't show up. The first game I played in was against Kowhai A they were hard but also was a good challenge. We lost against them but I dont know what the score was. Next game was on court one and B team was versing Waikowhai, they were easy at first but they got harder adventurley went away with the score board. Next game I played at 10am against Waikowhai B they were very fast but we caught up with the scoreboard and won our 2nd game.

When the netball game finished I went home and had a cold shower, after I did some baking with my mum for a 1 year old birthday. When we  finished baking we left them to cool and the next day we decided to frost them.

On Sunday morning we woke took mum to her favorite bakery and brought breakfast. She had a quiche  and I also  had a quiche while my dad just had a mince and cheese pie. After we went home took a shower got ready and went to church. When church finished I went to the 1 year old birthday and frosted the cupcakes there then took them to the kids table.

That was my Mother's day weekend a fun and enjoyable one for me.

Easter sunday

On Easter Sunday I went to Sunday school and church, before we started Sunday school we had breakfast with the whole church like we had eggs, Bacon, Mushroom sauce and toast.Breakfast was then dismissed and us kids had to make our way down to the church and get ready for our first Sunday school lesson of 2016. During Sunday school we shared our names, what class were in and what does Easter means to you, When we finished sharing we get a Easter egg basket filled with different kinds of Easter eggs. We had church after and the church service was about how Jesus died on the cross so all our sin's could be washed away. This is why Easter is a big celebration for us apart from eating the Easter eggs. When church finished my family and I went back home got changed made some lunch and took that meal to my uncles house for us to eat when everyone arrives. At the Easter lunch we ate Donuts, Raw fish, Chicken and kumara. While we waited for the food to be cooked we played on my uncles PlayStation and watched some sky. When the feast was done we all went home and waited for the next day to come.

The Weekend

On Saturday  I basically just had a lazy day with my mum dad and sister, my brother stayed the night at my nana's house. I was supposed to go but then changed my mind. We then decided to go and grab a feed at my nana's house, we ate pork, home made salad, corn beef and taro then drank  down a cup of  otai (Tongan fruit drink made with watermelon, pineapple, mango juice and other fruit).

On Sunday we thought to start  the cleaning so we did. We woke up early and started,  my job was to fold the cloths and take them upstairs to the rooms, next job for me was to hang the washing. After that my brother finally arrived from my nana's house with Mac Donald's. My third job was to go and have a shower. we were going out to Takanini for a church service with my nana,grandpa,uncle,aunt and cousins. We got there and was 20 minutes early so we toke a ride to the shops and grabbed a few snacks for us to munch on. We were done eating so we went in and listend to the minister preach and the Sunday school sing there songs. When that was done we finished with a  feed and the end there food was amazing accept for there juice I didn't like there grapefruit juice because it just tasted really bitter and the end.

Today we went down to the hall to do a workshop with Auckland Theater and over there they tought us some games they made up and some games they used to help them with drama. The first game they tought us was that you had to be a fighter and fight in slow motion, you have to fight until your both dead and cause a dramatic death. The next game was when one of the characters said to walk around and he would call out a animal and you had to act in that animal. Our next stage was to find a partner and again he would call out        a animal like a depressed elephant or monkey and you would have to act that out. Next activity was to find another group of 2 and then you would then make a animal with just using the four of you's, my animal was a caterpillar at first but then my group changed it into a elephant.Me and my friend Cecilia were the ears and my 2 other friends were a tail and the head. Next game was when we had to come up with a song with a theme that was given from one of the coaches. Our theme was "Space Monkey"  what we did was just make a monkey voice  and sing a made up song from the top of our heads. This has helped me with a little bit of confidence just not enough confidence to stand up and show what I have on the table yet.
